Overdose Awareness Day – Monday, August 31st

Lowell House Addiction Treatment and Recovery is hosting a virtual vigil for Overdose Awareness Day.

Please join us to not only remember the loved ones we have lost to the opioid crisis, but for stories of hope from people in recovery who live amazing lives, and also how we can prevent overdoses and celebrate the amazing success of those who have survived addiction and overdoses. Come together for an evening of prayer, remembrance, and love.

We will have a short virtual vigil at 7 PM on Monday, August 31, 2020. In observance of “Overdose Awareness Day”, the City will light the Cox Bridge in purple and silver to honor this important day. Please join in by lighting candles virtually when logging into the vigil and/or in your own windows on this special evening.
